  • The exam is conducted in two-level, one is State level and the other is National level
  • Stage one that is State level, is carried out for the students of 10th standard in 29 states and 7 Union territories. 
  • After qualifying stage one a student becomes eligible for the next stage that is National-level administered by the NCERT.
  • Mode of examination is offline for both the papers i.e. MAT (Mental Aptitude Test) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) respectively.
