1. Number of Questions: In each of the exams i.e. mental ability and scholastic aptitude tests, there are overall 100 questions as per the exam pattern issued by the NCERT.
2. Marking Scheme: In accordance with the modified marking scheme of NTSE 2021, the candidates will be granted one mark for each question correctly answered, and there will be a negligible repercussion of the questions answered incorrectly.
3. Exam Category: The exam conducted by the authorities will be divided into two categories as Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT).
