National Talent Search Examination famously known as NTSE is designed with the motive of promoting the Secondary School Level and is a National Level Scholarship Program to recognize and award students who have high intellectual and are talented in academics.

National Talent Search Examination is conducted annually and at two levels is, The Stage-I State Level, it is an NTSE Exam, is carried out by the States/Union Territories, and The Stage-II National Level, it is an NTSE Exam, conducted under the guidance of the NCERT.

NTSE basics for preparation 

Following are the given tips for preparing for NTSE stage 1 and stage 2 exams:

  • Complete full syllabus: the most basic and initial step for an NTSE candidate is to complete his or her full syllabus. Moreover, a candidate should analyze his or her weaker areas and stronger areas as well.
  • Solving the maximum number of Sample Papers: Once a candidate is done with completing the whole syllabus, that case, the prime focus of the candidate should be on practicing maximum sample papers to polish their skills. However, previous year’s question papers give an elaborated idea regarding the examination pattern that is followed by the NTSE. Guidelines for exam day

  • Students should positively bring along, their admit cards, a pencil, pen, and a photo identity card to the examination hall.
  • All the students should be present at least 45 minutes prior to their examination center.
  • Students are not allowed after the 15 minutes of commencement of the exam. 
  • Electronic gadgets are not allowed on the premises.
