Biology, as the name suggests, is the study of living organisms. Biology as a subject is very interesting for students. To get to learn about our body, its functions, and everything in our surrounding makes students love the subject. From a microscopic cell to a whole human body, biology introduces us to the nature.
Class 1-12 Biology
As a subject Biology is introduces in class 9 or 11, but it’s basics and introduction start from the very begin of schooling. From parts of body in nursery, sense organs in class 1, parts of plant in class 4 to genetics and evolution in class 12 everything makes up the subject biology.
How to study for biology?
Learning Biology is not only interesting but also a complicated subject if not studied properly. Too many names, too many categories and divisions can confuse students. So, what’s the right way to prepare for biology?
- Make your own notes while studying. Keep the notes short and easily accessible for yourself
- Revise everything 3-4 times. Write down if necessary.
- Practice and study diagram well
- Learn from videos and practicals as much as you can.
- To learn it thoroughly, try to teach it to someone. You can even pretend to teach someone in order to understand it better.
- Do not do rot learning, don’t just memorise the words. Understand and visualise the concepts to make them clear in your head.
