The eligibility criteria for cash awards in Olympiad exams depend on the qualifying criteria and scoring pattern of each Olympiad exam –
Eligibility Criteria for Cash Awards
Grade/Level:
Students in grades 1 through 12 have the opportunity to take part in Olympiad exams. As a result, they can win cash rewards or qualify for cash awards.
Participation:
Students must register for the Olympiad exams to participate in the competition and be eligible for cash awards.
Score Threshold:
To qualify for cash awards in Olympiad exams, all participants who are rank holders must achieve a minimum score of 85% and above.
(Note – Only 50 top students are eligible for Cash Awards globally in SCO Olympiads, also it is compulsory that students from each grade and each competition should have at least 20 participants to be eligible of any Award along with Cash Award)
Ranking:
Cash Awards are in general given to the top–scoring participants, and the top-scoring participants must fall into the eligibility criteria or specific rank cutoff for the particular Olympiad exam.
Submission of Required Documents:
This is mandatory for participants to submit their additional documents for verification, such as registration details, school enrollment proof, or other necessary documents to validate their ID in order to qualify for awards.
Compliance with Rules:
Participants must adhere to all rules and guidelines set by the organizing body, including academic integrity and conduct during the exam.
Category Awards:
Awards apply to each subject or category (e.g., Math, Science, English, etc.). Participants must excel in their chosen subject.
Final Decision:
The eligibility of a participant to claim cash awards is contingent upon adherence to the guidelines set forth by the Olympiad organization, as well as the participant’s overall performance throughout the event.

Important to Note –
In a situation where two or more students achieve the same national or international rank, the distribution of cash awards is applicable as per the following terms:
- For up to 4 students with the same rank, the award amount will be divided proportionately among them, along with any other applicable awards.
- In case 5 or more students achieve the same rank, instead of cash awards, each winner will receive a Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal, along with being inducted into the Hall of Fame for Gold winners.
- Individual Participants are not eligible for Cash Awards, it is applicable only for Schools and Institutions.
Important Note – SCO Olympiad reserve all rights to verify the exam credentials of cash awardee students which may including one to one re online exams in case of any discrepancy inorder to safeguard the interest of Olympiad Exams and its competitiveness.
