IOM (International Olympiad of Mathematics)

There is an annual competition called the International Olympiad of Mathematics (IOM). The National and International Math Olympiad tests look at pupils’ capacity for analytical reasoning in math at the school level. The International Olympiad of Mathematics is an annual competition for children in grades 1 to 12, which aims to identify each student’s true mathematical potential.

Eligibility Criteria for IOM

According to the IOM qualifying requirements,

  • Students in grades 1 through 12 are eligible to take the IOM level 1 exam.
  • Level 1 competitors who finished in the top 1000 in each class are qualified to compete at level 2.
  • The only students who can take the level 3 test are those who have achieved level 2 rank 1 in classes 6–12.

Stages of the IOM

IOM : Students studying IOM who successfully complete each Olympiad level are eligible to move on to the next round.

  • Level 1: Participants can be students in grades 1 through 12.
  • Level 2: The only competitors eligible to compete in the Olympiad’s second level are the top 1000 rank holders from the previous level. Level-2 is also available to students who receive at least 75% of the possible points and place first in every class.
  • Level 3: Rank holders from Classes 6 through 12 are eligible to apply for the third level of the IOM, which will take place in New Delhi, India.

  • Go to the official SilverZone Foundation website.
  • Click “Downloads” in the upper right corner of the website.
  • From the list under IOM, choose the link labeled “Student Registration Form.”
  • You can download the registration form as a PDF file.
  • Print off the form so you may use it in the following stage.
  • Carefully fill out all required fields on the form.

IOM Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The IOM exam format, it is a multiple-choice, one-hour test with no negative marking. For pupils in grades 1 through 2, there are forty questions, and for those in grades 3 to 12, there are fifty. The thorough IOM test format varies by class and is as follows:

IOM (International Olympiad of Mathematics)

The International Olympiad of Mathematics syllabus is available on the official website (IOM). It must be verified by candidates on the official website. There are no login credentials needed for students to view the syllabus.

IOM Result

  • The IOM Level 1 results will be revealed online in March.
  • Level 1 qualified individuals are invited to apply for level 2. Level 2 results will be announced in April 2023.
  • The IOM Level 3 test will be held in the months of May/June, and the results will be issued in August/September.
