Silver IOM Exam Pattern

IOM stands for the International Olympiad of Mathematics. Students’ capacity for analytical reasoning in school-level mathematics is assessed by the National and International Mathematics Olympiads. Students from all throughout the country, ranging in class from 1 to 12, compete in the International Olympiad of Mathematics each year to assess their actual mathematical prospects. The CBSE/ICSE/State Boards syllabus serves as the only basis for the Silverzone IOM exam. Silver IOM Exam Pattern

Overview of Exam

The Silverzone Foundation hosts three stages of the International Olympiad in Mathematics. Students can advance to the next level if they complete each one.

  • Students in grades 1 to 12 can enroll at Level 1.
  • Second level: The top 1000 first-level Olympiad rank holders in each class will face off against the top spots in a second-level exam. All first-year students with at least 75% of the grades and at least 100 students from a certain school are eligible to apply to Level 2.
  • Students in grades 6 through 12 who hold a 2nd level Olympiad rank may access Level 3. India’s New Delhi is the location of the third level.

Exam Pattern of Silver IOM

The format of the silver IOM exam is comparable to previous Olympiad tests. Logical thinking, mathematical reasoning, everyday mathematics, and the achiever part are the four sections.

  • Logical Reasoning: The goal of the first portion is to assist students in strengthening their learning strategies and gaining confidence when approaching both verbal and nonverbal reasoning on a range of subjects.
  • Mathematical Reasoning: In this section, students solve a variety of mathematical problems to acquire different techniques for constructing mathematical reasoning.
  • Everyday Mathematics: The third section’s goal is to help students improve their ability to solve problems involving a range of mathematical ideas.
  • Achiever portion: In this last portion, participants were assessed on their fundamental mathematics knowledge. Since this section goes into great detail about the fundamental idea, students need to be familiar with the subjects beforehand in order to properly respond to the different questions.
