With the Pre-RMO, or PRMO, the Indian Mathematical Olympiad gets underway. The competition’s full name is the Pre-Regional Mathematical Olympiad (PRMO). This is the qualifying round for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO), where competitors will be chosen. The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) has been designated as the test coordinator by the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM). Under its direction, the PRMO test will be administered by the Mathematics Teachers’ Association, or MTA. Events relating to the mathematics olympiad are managed by NBHM.
This article contains all of the PRMO’s information. The goal of qualifying for PRMO should be the main priority for those who wish to compete nationally.
