NSTSE Eligibility

The Unified Council administers the National Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) to evaluate students’ comprehension of science and mathematics ideas. The test provides in-depth feedback on the concepts the student needs to work on and is falling behind in. The NSTSE test is administered outside of India in the following countries: Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Iran, Kuwait, Bahrain, Libya, Nepal, Yemen, Russia, and Tanzania. Eligibility Criteria

In order to take the exam, candidates must meet the NSTSE eligibility requirements.

• All pupils enrolled in classes 2 through 10 are qualified to take this test.
  Both PCM and PCB students in Class 11 are also qualified to take the test.
• The National Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) is not open to PCMB students.
• Students enrolled in Class 12 (PCM and PCB) are qualified to take the test.
• First-graders must only apply through their individual schools.
• For pupils in Class 1, the open center facility is not available.

NSTSE Achievers

A student will receive two lakh rupees in prize money if they receive a perfect score on the NSTSE. In the event that no student receives a perfect score, the student with the highest overall grade across all subjects will get one lakh rupees. If many students receive the highest scores, the reward money is split equally between them.

Q1 What will the NSTSE syllabus for the UP Board’s Class 9 be?

In the NSTSE exam, questions will only come from your approved UP Board Class 9 syllabus. The syllabus for all K–12 exams is the same since NCERT and the UP Board are in agreement.

Q3 What is the minimum score needed to be eligible for NSTSE Level 2?

There is no connection between your eligibility for Level 2 and the number of points you scored on the NSTSE. If you pass the first test, you move on to the second level. The top 20 rank holders in each class and the top 100 rank holders overall in India will be promoted to Level 2 and granted exam eligibility. However, the pupil will not be eligible for the second level if they are in first grade. The NSTSE Level 2 assessment is only available to students in grades 2 through 12. Q4 Who can submit an NSTSE application?

A candidate may apply for the NSTSE if they passed the PCM and PCB topics in their second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth standards from the reorganized board. Additionally, candidates who passed their eleventh and twelfth standards with PCM and PCB subjects from the reorganized board may apply.
