The Indian Association of Physics Teachers and the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education jointly administer the NSEC Examination. Application Form for NSEC
The application form for the NSEC is available each year in September. You can get the NSEC Application Form offline or online. During the specified duration, the NSEC application form will be available at distinct NSE Centers. To receive a copy of the NSEC Application Form for yourself, please follow the guidelines below:
- Locate the NSE Center closest to you: Locating the closest NSE Center is the first step. IAPT has opened more than a thousand centers across the nation in the past few years. A PDF file can be found here that contains the name, address, and phone number of each center.
- The next step is to complete the NSEC Application Form. Once you’ve located an NSE Center and completed the application, you can obtain the NSEC Application Form from the Center Coordinator.
Exam Pattern for NSEC
The first two NSEC/IOQA examination levels will be combined into a single stage (IOQA) to form the Indian National Olympiad. Each test, according to the IAPT, shall be administered in a single sitting and consist of a single examination with two components.

Syllabus for the Session of the NSEC
Although the organizers have not yet finalized the syllabus, we can reasonably assume that pupils can follow the syllabus for grades 11 and 12, based on past examination results and the syllabus that was followed. The following is a list of every chapter that needs to be studied for the test:

NSEC Session Eligibility Criteria
These are tests for Indian students who have studied Chemistry and performed exceptionally well in it. Students in higher secondary schools take this test, and in an effort to streamline the testing process, the organizers have selected about 850 centers spread over numerous towns, cities, and villages. In order to be eligible, students must fulfill the following criteria:
- The NSEP test is intended for students in grades 9 and 10.
- The learner must be an Indian citizen first and foremost.
- Born on a day that falls between July 1, 2004 and June 30, 2009, inclusive.
- Must have been living and studying in India since at least November 30, 2021. must have begun attending an Indian educational system no later than November 30, 2021. OR Has been enrolled in an Indian educational system since November 30, 2021, or before
- The class 12 board test cannot have been finished or expected to be finished by November 30, 2023.
- By June 1, 2023, the individual must not have enrolled in, or planned to enroll in, classes at a university or other comparable institution.
- Is not allowed to participate in NSEJS 2023

Q1 How can you properly get ready for the NSEC?
