- Grade Level: The exam is open to students in grades 9 to 12 (ages 14 – 18), and exceptional younger students may also participate if they demonstrate advanced math skills.
- Nationality: Only for Jordanian nationals, this competition is primarily intended for students studying in Jordanian educational institutions.
- Registration: To participate, students must register either through their schools or directly with the organizing committee.
- Selection Process: The competition involves local and regional rounds, where students participate to compete and earn a place in the national level competition to become national champions in JMO.
- Mathematical Ability: This examination holds significant value as it provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate their proficiency in mathematics and problem-solving, showcasing their deep understanding of fundamental concepts and their ability to think critically beyond the regular course material.
In a nutshell, JMO is designed to provide a significant platform for students passionate about mathematics to showcase their knowledge and expertise. It encourages participants’ mathematical skills and fosters enhanced mathematical ability.
Note – SCO Olympiad is an international competition for schools and students (Mode of Exam – Online/Offline). Govt schools and private schools in Jordan have option to conduct an Olympiad exam in the Arabic Language (Only Offline).
